Maintenance Technician Responsibilities:

• Assist in maintaining all mechanical equipment, emergency systems, building fixtures and groundwork as needed.
• Complete all work orders quickly and efficiently.
• Report any problems/deficiencies to the Director of Maintenance
• Knowledgeable of building codes and regulatory compliance issues.
• Interacts positively with all team members in maintaining census by immediately completing apartment turns
• Maintain the grounds, trash, sweep, dumpster areas, snowplow, etc.
• Test the resident security systems as required.
• Assist with custodial duties which include but not limited to, trash removal, carpet cleaning, etc.
• Perform any maintenance task necessary as directed.

Maintenance Technician Qualifications:

• Minimum of one year of maintenance experience required.
• Boiler License preferred, but not required.
• Skills in mechanical, electrical, plumbing, appliances, doors & windows.
• Ability to motivate oneself and work independently.
• Current, valid driver's license.

Schedule:

• Work includes two days per week at Broadway Court Apartments in Robbinsdale, MN, and three days per week as a floating Maintenance Technician across Anoka, Scott, Hennepin, and various other counties.
• This position participates in an on-call rotation at Broadway Court and four sites in Anoka county - two weeks on, two weeks off.
