Job Description

The Associate Sales Manager position is responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive growth plan for the Atlanta, Georgia territory. The growth plan will be driven by developing IPC's legacy distribution network and developing new channels of distribution.

GENERAL RESPONISIBILITIES

  • Provide overall vision and direction for new market expansion beyond IPC distribution
  • Define, implement, and execute overall new market growth strategies
  • Responsible for the development and implementation of the analytical framework for market prioritization and focus of sales effort and company investment
  • Identify, attract, develop, and retain new strategic partners that align with current and future growth strategies.
  • Responsible for developing effective programs to drive profitable growth in new target channels
  • Effectively partner with IPC VP of Business Development to mature the business development function and ensure successful integration with regional sales organization.
  • Responsible for all product lines including floorcare, windows, and vacuums.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION

  • Bachelor's degree preferred but not required.
  • Preferred sales experience to include:
    • a minimum of 1 year of sales and/or business development experience
    • experience with developing and managing dealer and/or distribution partnerships, with a preference for Jan/San distribution.
  • Experience developing and implementing sales planning.
  • Experience developing and implementing dealer and/or distribution programs.
  • Track record of successful sales performance

  • Keen business judgment combined with the ability to provide fresh, proactive insight. Must be capable of identifying, articulating, and developing new opportunities within the boundaries of prudent risk.
  • The proven ability to manage change.
  • Must be a team player and one who can learn about new business channels.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Flexibility and problem-solving capability to address and resolve issues that face a business.
