THE OPPORTUNITY

Michelin is eagerly searching for a hard-working Business Communication Partner who will lead internal communication for the Americas IS/IT organization. This role will report directly to the Director of Internal Communication and will support the leaders of IS/IT. This role seeks to improve employee engagement while meeting business and customer objectives. WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Establish an internal communication strategy in conjunction with internal partners (global and local) and senior leaders.
  • Own the development, creation, and implementation of a communication plan to ensure effective and efficient translation of strategies into engaging and measurable communications assets.
  • Plan, coordinate, and lead - in close collaboration with the project team, events team, and the sponsor - internal and customer facing events that deliver objectives within budget.
  • Lead visual/multimedia/digital projects, coordinate across departments, and delivers final products.
  • Employ crisis principles and communication tools to anticipate and handle sensitive messages.
  • Handle communication performance/feedback to identify issues/ opportunities and implements the vital actions to improve engagement.

What will you bring

  • A Bachelor's degree in Business Communications, Marketing, Journalism, Public Relations, or a similar communication field of study is helpful.
  • Five years proven experience in a communications role is recommended. Experience in an IS/IT environment preferred, but not required.
  • Success in coordinating and leading multiple communications projects at one time.
  • Emotional intelligence/ability to use emotional information to understand motivation and influence communications design.
  • Willingness to work a hybrid in-office schedule.
