The Loudoun County Department of Mental Health, Substance Abuse and Developmental Services is seeking a talented and motivated individual to serve as a Prevention Specialist in the Prevention Intervention program. The Prevention Specialist performs universal interventions promoting overall health, wellness, and resilience for the Loudoun County community focusing on youth who have serious emotional disturbance and/or youth identified as at high-risk for an adverse childhood experiences.
Primary responsibilities include:
Bachelor's degree in related field; one (1) year of professional work experience working with high- risk youth or a mental health and/or substance use disorder and/or prevention services; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
