Job Description
OverviewMicrosoft Tax & Customs Department is responsible for Worldwide Tax & Customs Reporting, Compliance, and Planning, including the technology and process to support the coordination of the worldwide tax and customs function. ResponsibilitiesAdvise on all tax matters throughout LATAM.Perform legal research and analysis on a variety of LATAM tax issues.Monitor business and legislative changes impacting compliance across LATAM region.Advise on global tax considerations, implications and risk regarding Microsoft business initiatives.Work cross-functionally and across regions to provide clear, consistent and comprehensive tax requirements to enable strategic business and improve customer experience and internal systems.Ensure compliance with applicable tax laws and regulations in both launch and operations globally.Develop understanding of Microsoft businesses and internal financial systems and tools.Work cross-functionally within Tax and across Business, Finance, Legal and Engineering.Embody our culture and values.
