Assists with rehabilitative care to improve functional goals of persons served as directed by the Physical, Occupational Therapist, or Speech Pathologist. This may include preparation of patient for therapy, assisting with ambulation, exercises and other basic treatments. Creates a comfortable and safe environment.

* Works with the licensed therapist in the treatment preparation of persons served. This may include assisting with exercise, gait, hot and cold application, and hydrotherapy, reinforcing rehabilitation techniques under the direction and supervision of the licensed therapist.
* Assists with cleaning/inventorying equipment and ordering supplies.
* Reports any questions or concerns regarding compliance immediately to the attention of department or organization/hospital administrative staff.
* May be requested to assist with managing supply acquisition and stocking.

QUALIFICATIONS: EDUCATION: Graduation from high school or GED. Ability to read, write and speak fluent English. Must be able to communicate effectively (written and orally) with people of diverse professional, educational and lifestyle backgrounds.
