Experience and Education

  • Bachelor's degree required, or additional experience in lieu of education.
  • Minimum of 7 years in the information technology field with experience to include systems administration, technology consulting, technology system design and support, or other closely related experience.

Job Duties

The IAM Support Engineer plays an essential role in Enterprise Systems and Services. The IAM Support Engineer's responsibility is to ensure people have the right access to the right digital resources at the right time. As an IAM support engineer you will provide SailPoint IdentityNow support by interfacing with key technical teams across the enterprise to understand the technology requests and the business complexities as they relate to IT requirements.

  • Participate in regular reviews of IAM policies, standards, and procedures to ensure the department meets or exceeds established governance controls and to raise the maturity of the IAM program.
  • Provides support in responding to break/fix requests monitoring the environment, supporting change management processes for development, QA, and production environments.
  • Identify opportunities and develop scripts to automate the engineering tasks where possible to minimize the manual work and to produce high quality and consistent work.
  • Must have experience with software development integration engineering experience working with Identity, Credential, and Access Management (ICAM) solutions with any additional expertise in SailPoint, Azure, Duo products is a big plus.
  • Demonstrated development experience with PowerShell, Python, Java, REST and JSON.

  • Working knowledge of ITIL disciplines.
  • Ability to maximize knowledge transfer through the production of high-quality process documentation.
  • Strong adoption of automation philosophies.
  • Delivery focused with the ability to drive tasks forward and meet deadlines.
  • Strong problem investigation and diagnosis skills.
  • The ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of people internally and externally.
