What you will do in this role:

The primary purpose of this job is to manage the planning staff and process across the site, while finding opportunities to increase process efficiencies and reducing total transactional cost. Responsibilities include development of long-term production planning strategies, considering market trends, business objectives, and industry dynamics, oversee planning activities, responsible for stablishing goals, metrics and tracking attainment, lead and mentor the planning team, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure effective execution.

Accountabilities & Responsibilities:

Adhere to Integer's Values and all safety, environmental, security, and quality requirements including, but not limited to: Quality Management Systems (QMS), Safety, Environmental and Security Management Systems, U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) regulations, company policies and operating procedures, and other regulatory requirements.

  • Manages and serves as a key leader of the Planning Team and is accountable to the development of the annual goals and objectives for Supply Chain from which Key Performance Goals/Targets are derived.
  • Understand and adhere to Integer's Values and all company policies, procedures, and work instructions defined in your training plan.
  • Ensure compliance with the established Quality Management System and all Environmental, Health, Safety, and Security protocols.
  • Provides subject matter guidance through effective communication with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring alignment of production plans to meet business objectives.
  • Identify potential risks in planning process, develop and communicate contingency plans to mitigate disruptions.
  • Develops innovative solutions to complex technical, operational and organizational problems through sustained Continuous Improvement processes.
  • Lead the planning team; promote talent by developing individual growth and development plans and organizational succession plans.
  • Engage with Associates at all levels and across all functions.
  • Interact, as appropriate, directly with your internal customers; support the preparations of customer business reviews and participate in site visits and audits by customers or other parties, as needed.
  • Partner with your peers on the operations, local Supply Chain Team, and corporate Supply Chain Team, aligning on strategies, tactics, and actions required, to achieve Operation's objectives.
  • Collaborate with the R&D and Product Development teams to appropriately prioritize resources and support for new product launches.
  • Perform other duties as needed and as directed.

What sets you apart:

Minimum education: bachelor's degree in business, Engineering, or a Business-related discipline preferred or a combination of education and 5 to 8 years of experience in manufacturing environments.

Minimum Experience: 5-8 years' experience with progressive responsibilities and leadership roles in a purchasing environment, including supervision of people. Medical Industry strongly desired.

Specialized Knowledge and Skills:

  • Accomplished track record in manufacturing environments where you owned the responsibilities for delivering results related to planning - particularly those KPIs noted above.
  • Experience implementing and/or sustaining Manufacturing Excellence and Lean practices.
  • Previous experience working in a regulated industry, such as medical, automotive, aerospace, is desired.
  • Hands-on experience in setting/managing planning attributes in ERP systems, preferably Oracle EBS.
  • Experience with preparing financial budgets, for production planning, labor, department and inventory.
  • Experience with production transfers, new product introductions, and SIOP process.
  • Demonstrated experiences with strategic and direct management of people in a fast-paced and complex manufacturing environments where products are make-to-stock and make-to-order.
  • Strong leadership skills
