To supervise the maintenance activity through the implementation of a preventive maintenance program and an ongoing maintenance repair program for production maintenance and process equipment.

* Supervises maintenance team members, to include hiring, training and performance management.

* Sets shift schedules, coordinate shift activities and exchange information and priorities between shifts.

* Maintenance of machinery and procurement of necessary materials.

* Work in conjunction with EHS to address environmental, health and safety concerns for the facility.

* Assigns preventative maintenance tasks as needed and assures timely execution.

* Plans, organizes, and assigns work in accordance with production schedules and utilizes employees and equipment to the best advantage.

* Install electrical conduit, wiring, switching devices, controls, outlets, fixtures, motors, and other such equipment.

* Test, maintain and evaluate equipment performance using instruments such as voltmeters, ohmmeters, pyrometers, and pressure gauges.

* Schedules team members to perform skilled maintenance activities including construction, welding, brazing, soldering, and plumbing.

* Check and repair pumps, fans, valves, and motors.

* Adjust, repair, and replace electrical and pneumatic components.

* Recommend needed procedures for preventive maintenance tasks.

* Responsible for quality and safety of work and compliance of all company procedures and policies

* Ensures team adheres to Occupational Safety & Health Administration (OSHA) safety regulations.

* Ensure team adheres to National electrical code, NFPA 70 and NFPA 79 regulations.

-High school diploma
-5 years related maintenance experience
-3 to 5 years supervisory experience
-Familiarity with air compressors, heating and air conditions, plumbing, welding, carpentry, electrical/electronic equipment, pneumatics, hydraulics and heavy manufacturing equipment
-Knowledge of occupational hazards and safety precautions of the trades involved
-Skill in the care and use of tools and equipment used in the trades involved
-Ability to detect defects in equipment and to make proper repairs or adjustments
-Ability to interpret and work from pencil sketches and diagrams

This role is subject to compliance with the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and the Export Administration Regulations (EAR), which requires the incumbent to be either a US citizen, lawful permanent resident ["green card" holders], or have refugee or asylee status).
