Parker's Parflex Division is a leading manufacturer of fluoropolymer tubing and offers multiple secondary processes to meet a wide range of industry and customer needs. Our Fort Worth, TX plant provides critical equipment for multiple industries including the Medical Device Market, Aerospace, Transportation, and Semiconductor.
Aspects of Your Work:
The candidate will take part in unique assignments within the Quality Assurance team, not limited to: Standard Operating Procedure Development, Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis, and Quality Engineering to support Parker's Zero Defects Initiative. You will be part of a team working to innovate and develop manufacturing process improvements. Typical tasks may include improving and maintaining SOPs and FMEAs, learning the process for tool design and application of problem-solving, statistical analysis, and other assigned duties.
Qualifications:
The requirements to be part of the Program are:
* Must be actively pursuing a degree in Chemical, Aerospace, Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering.
* The program will begin Summer 2024.
* GPA 3.0 or better
* Strong leadership skills and a "can do" attitude.
* Strong analytical, mechanical conceptualization, and problem-solving capabilities,
* Strong computer proficiency and the ability to quickly learn new applications.
* Strong innovation and creative thinking, self-motivated.
* Proven ability to handle confidential information.
* Detail oriented individual with demonstrated organizational skills.
* Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook).
* Ability to work independently (with minimal supervision) and within a team environment.
* Familiarity using statistical software or related tools.
* Some experience making technical presentations and report writing.
