Overview

Summary

This position will be a member of the Microsoft and Cloud Presales team, which focuses on Microsoft technologies. This role will have a deep focus on the Microsoft Volume Licensing and Microsoft Cloud Solutions Provider (CSP) Program. In a consultative manner, the Microsoft Licensing Specialist will advise, guide, and develop customer licensing solutions at an SMB and enterprise level. The Microsoft Licensing Specialist must be knowledgeable and passionate about guiding customers' adoption in all aspects of their adoption journey. This position will also be responsible for defining the customer requirements, delivering the proposed agreement, defining solutions, leveraging vendor relationships and tools, and defining potential professional services.

Responsibilities

Essential Functions

    Ensures quotes, licensing contracts, and orders are completed accurately with established SLA's
  • Provides proactive communication to stakeholders on the status of contracts, quotes, and orders
  • Ensures customer compliance of contractual and licensing obligations
  • Understands the various compliance-related details of each part of the overall process
  • Manages and delivers quoting, contracts, orders, and amendments requests
  • Reconciles actual customer license seat usage against license agreements
  • Facilitates contract amendments between the customer and Sales Operations
  • Understands the business needs and unique requirements of the supported customer segment
  • Provides timely resolution of purchase order pricing, quoting or contract discrepancies
  • Responsible for identifying and resolving licensing issues including educating internal team members and customers
  • Fosters an environment of continuous improvement
  • Actively identifies workflow issues that impact the ability to properly support customers
  • Remains up-to-date and current with any Microsoft Licensing or process changes, both internally and externally

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • Currently holds or ability to earn one or all the following:
    • MS-900: Microsoft 365 Fundamentals
    • AZ-900: Microsoft Azure Fundamentals
    • GetLicenseReady Certification
  • 5+ Years of Microsoft Selling experience
  • Familiarity with Microsoft licensing programs and terminology
  • High level of attention to detail
  • Proficient in MS Office tools: Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Teams

Pay Range

$110,000 - $155,000

Base pay ranges are estimated. Actual base pay will be based on education, experience, location, certifications, skill set, and any other relevant factors. Incentive/variable pay opportunities are in addition to base pay.
