The Job
We seek personnel to assist with race operations at races within the North Central Division. The Division has racetracks located in Indiana, Illinois, Kentucky, Michigan, and Ohio. Positioned all along the racetrack, assisting with track prep, various areas of the staging lanes, and on the drag strip (ready line, water box, and start line) at race events during the season. These positions require the ability to assist staff or competitors as needed.

Some racetrack operations jobs may require driving a commercial vehicle across the country. In this case, a CDL is required and must be registered in the FMCSA D&A Clearing House program.

LOCATION: Racetracks throughout the North Central Division
FLSA/SALARY: State minimum wage

Requirements
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Must be flexible with meal and rest periods.
  • Ability to sit, stand, walk, bend, push, pull, run, climb stairs, and lift up to 50 pounds as needed.
  • Must have a valid driver's license and be insurable under NHRA insurance policy.
  • Ability to work well within a team and independently.
  • Ability to read, understand, and follow directions.
  • Ability to communicate effectively.
  • Travel is required within the region - Indiana, Illinois, Kentucky, Michigan, and Ohio.
