Summary of Role

Corporate Development at Lantheus is a strategic function that encompasses strategy, portfolio management, and business development and licensing. This position will support Lantheus with evaluating business development and licensing opportunities and portfolio management-related initiatives. Working closely with the business development and licensing, commercial, technical operations, finance and R&D functions, the Senior Analyst will provide analytics and process support for high visibility projects such as portfolio committee, strategic plan, diligence for BD opportunities, competitor tracking and other projects incubated within Corporate Development.

Key Responsibilities/Essential Functions

  • Support and optimize portfolio management processes, templates, tools
  • Support strategic plan and portfolio processes, develop and maintain performance dashboards
  • Integrate benchmarking data and technology into the portfolio analytics processes
  • Develop and maintain key landscape insights in support of BD and Strategic Planning, including company profiles, competitor analyses, targeted disease landscapes, and the radiopharmaceutical pipeline
  • Support select opportunity assessment and due diligence processes
  • Support the development of the due diligence playbook
  • Routinely support evaluation of business development, portfolio, and pipeline opportunities
  • Drive the initiative of developing advanced analytics
  • Help create presentations for senior management
  • Manage multiple projects and competing priorities simultaneously
  • Perform ad-hoc analysis and projects as required
  • Rapidly respond to time sensitive tasks
  • Ability to work autonomously while communicating shifting priorities or potential problems
  • Comfortable generating multiple prototype designs and incorporating stakeholder feedback to enhance the final deliverable
  • Develop and maintain relationships with various levels of personnel
  • Engage with functional leaders to gather inputs
  • Contribute to the best practices repository and document management for Corporate Development
  • Challenge processes and the status quo to drive improvements
  • Complete all company-based and job-related training as assigned by Lantheus within the required timeline

Job Requirements

  • BA/BS degree in scientific or business discipline
  • Years of experience: 2-5
  • Prior consulting or biotech industry experience required
  • Oncology or Neurology experience preferred
  • Pharmaceutical modeling and analysis experience preferred
  • Demonstrate strong business acumen and comfortable with scientific concepts
  • Critical, systematic thinking and problem solving skills
  • Meticulous attention to detail and high levels of accuracy
  • Persistence with iterating concepts/designs/solutions that lead to impressive end results
  • Excellent verbal & written communication, organizational & presentation skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills including the ability to communicate effectively with individuals across all levels
  • Time management and efficient working practices that guarantee projects are completed on time and with a high quality standard
  • Assist with project management, notetaking and collaborative initiatives
  • Prior evidence of influencing without authority
  • Comfortable challenging the status quo and making recommendations

  • Excellent PowerPoint skills and creative design thinking in order to generate content that simplifies complex concepts

Other requirements

  • Predominately an office-based role with some hybrid working flexibility
  • Evening and weekend work may occasionally be required
