What this job involves
We are currently seeking a dynamic individual for the role of Facility Manager to join our team:
Location:San Juan, Puerto Rico.

Work schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm (availability for emergencies).

Work model: On site.

Contract Type: Indefinite-term.


This roles is responsible for overseeing the management and operation of the properties and staff as directed by the clients and in accordance with the standards and procedures of Jones Lang LaSalle. Organize and prioritize multiple tasks, effectively manage through stressful situations, consistently make effective, high quality decisions, and must develop and effectively manage client relationships.

What is your day to day?
Provides oversight of staff, with input on selection, counseling, appraisals and recognition; recommending salary, promotional, disciplinary, termination, and other personnel actions

Provide leadership and direction for the efficient operations and maintenance of all facility electrical, mechanical, structural, and life safety
Develop and maintain positive client relationship
Conflict resolution and solution analysis; identifying or partnering with other internal areas to deliver more specialized service to client
Provides contract compliance management and quality control
Responsible for overseeing the JLL Engineering compliance program
Support the Sr FM in the implementation of short and long-term projects for the client project
Develop and implement innovative programs, processes, and/or procedures that reduce short and long term operating costs and increase productivity by working closely with the Sr. FM and the client.
Oversee the appropriate monthly/quarterly/annual reporting appropriate for the client.
Oversee the development and management of the capital and expense budgets by interfacing closely with the client representative.
Responsible for overseeing the management and operation of the property and staff as directed by the clients standards and procedures of JLL.

Required
Bachelor's degree.

5 years of facility management experience.
Proficient in facility operations and maintenance, building codes and regulations.
Leadership and team management experience.
Effective communication and customer service skills.
Project management experience and familiarity with methodologies.
Strong computer skills (facility management software, Microsoft Office).
Financial knowledge and budget management skills.
Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail.
Proactive mindset for process improvement and cost savings.
Flexibility to work outside regular hours and adapt to changing priorities.
