Ensures the accounting records are accurate, complete and prepared in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and consistent with corporate policy. Responsible for the preparation of the monthly financial statements, prepares account entries, reconciles asset and liability accounts and performs analysis that supports the month end close process. Ensures proper maintenance of accounting controls and processes.Key Position Details:
***Work is mainly from home with the occasional in-person meeting***
- No weekends

Job Description:
Principle Responsibilities
- Records routine and non-routine accounting transactions that includes hospitals, clinics, system office and all sites.
- Contributes to the financial month end close process.
- Performs account reconciliations and proactively researches variances.
- Performs analytics and basic trend analysis.
- Anticipates customers needs and concerns.
- Looks for opportunities for efficiencies/process improvement.
- Utilizes the functionality of an integrated accounting system.
- Other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, business or finance required
- 2 to 5 years of accounting experience required

Sedentary:
Lifting weight Up to 10 lbs. occasionally, negligible weight frequently
