Hiring Salary Range: $68,000-$72,500 DOQ
This position is a second-level professional Business/System Analyst responsible for business or systems process analysis, design, testing, and implementation. The incumbent at this level is a learned professional responsible for problems of moderate difficulty that can be resolved through analyzing possible solutions utilizing standard procedures. This role will work under limited supervision and will often require technical guidance required for unusual and complex problems/projects.
This position is part of the Academic Support Resources (ASR) department, which supports vital processes and systems at the University of Minnesota. ASR supports hybrid and. Work arrangements are determined in coordination with supervisors depending on the nature of the unit and position. The arrangement for this position will be determined upon hire between employee and supervisor.

The Information Technology unit (ASR-IT) supports the University's strategic mission and vision by providing business analysis, project and systems support to the University community. Key business functions include stewardship of critical student finance, financial aid, and student records processes including applications to manage learning events that do not bear formal academic credit. ASR-IT also provides support of business case development, project management, custom web application and analytic report development to University staff on all campuses and is available for consultation on an as-needed basis.
