Job Description

Summary

  • Position Summary
    • The position is responsible for the implementation, oversight, maintenance, and progressive improvements in the efficiency and use of various ancillary technologies utilized in the Disbursement area. Ancillary technologies are those used to facilitate the capture, processing, and staging of invoices before entry into the organization's ERP system, as well as those used to facilitate the issuance of payments based on data provided by the ERP system.

      Is responsible for all operational aspects of the ancillary technologies including, but not limited to monitoring of system performance, interfacing with internal and external support personnel, development of operational processes, training of users, reporting, and continuously seeking expanded use of the technologies to increase processing efficiencies.

      This position reports to the Senior Director, MaineHealth Fiscal Services - Shared Services.

  • Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)
    • Education: College degree in Computer Science, Informatics, Analytics, Programming, or Business. Significant, relevant experience with large entities and complex systems may be substituted for this educational requirement.
    • License/Certifications: N/A
    • Experience: Minimum of 5 7 years of progressive systems/business analytic experience, with demonstrable analytical skills applied to computer technology to resolve business problems and/or increase operational efficiencies.
    • Excellent organizational skills necessary for project planning definition, implementation, and evaluation of effectiveness.
    • Ability to lead work teams in achievement of desired outcomes.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to effectively communicate with users and customers, in order to determine business needs and develop technological or operational solutions.
    • Ability to effectively document and train users in the use of computer technology so as to achieve identified goals and quality metrics.
    • Ability to deal with the inherent ambiguity related to requirements definition and analysis, and the exercise of sound judgment in line with a business unit's overall goals.
    • Ability to work independently with minimum supervision within a fast paced environment.
