The ideal candidate will demonstrate a very strong foundation in computer science, design patterns, and industry-leading best-practices. The candidate must be a self-starter, exhibit a willingness to lead and drive innovative solutions to complex technical problems in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Eventually, many of the solutions hosted in AWS will migrate to Azure so experience in this area or willingness to learn is a must.

Your High-Level Engagement Details:

  • Partner closely with our development teams, Application Architects, and product managers to architect and build features that are highly available, performant, and secure.

  • Responsible forthe installation, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of Windows Server operating systems and related technologies.

  • responsible fortechnically supporting customer escalations for our Publishing Platform for Retail

  • Administer AWS S3 FXs for application servers, Athena, and Logic Monitor

  • Automate the management of SQL Server and application servers and SQL Agent jobs.

  • Optimize Windows Server performance and security.

  • Providetechnical consulting to users and other IT staffs.

  • We are technology agonistic group and are already using Python, Go, Ansible, Terraform, Function Apps, Azure DevOps, Jenkins, DataDog

  • Using SAFe framework to organize project deliverables.

Your Experience & Skill:

  • 3-7 years of experience as a Site Reliability Engineer or a mix of a software engineer and DevOps

  • 2-5 years of experience in Windows Server administration

  • Strong experience with AWS cloud computing platform, including EC2, Systems Manager, VPC, Route 53, S3, Cloudwatch, AWS Transfer Family, Directory Service, AWS Backup, IAM

  • Experience with AWS S3 FXs, Athena, and Logic Monitor

  • Active Directory management and setup.

  • Experience with SQL Server and application server administration.

  • Networking and VPN experience.

  • Experience with automation and scripting.

  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Familiarity of FMEA process

  • Experience with containerization technologies.

  • Understanding of ITIL framework and Agile/Scrum methodologies.

  • Nice to have certifications in AWS or Azure cloud platform.

  • Participate in On-call support and Willingness to support during weekends.
