Part time social work position (20 hours) to provide a wide range of clinical social work services to children, adolescents and families in our Hematology inpatient unit.

This Clinical Social Worker will be responsible for:

  • Providing crisis intervention, psychosocial assessment, counseling, complex resource coordination, and psychosocial consultation to the medical team.
  • Participating in program development with Hematology Social Work Team and BMF multidisciplinary team to create and enhance patient/family psycho-education, developmentally appropriate interventions and continuity of care efforts.

To qualify, you must have:

  • Master's degree in Social Work, LCSW required. LICSW preferred
  • Experience in health care environment with inpatient experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of child protection system helpful.
  • Spanish language skills strongly preferred.
  • Flexibility and ability to work in fast-paced, dynamic environment.

This is a 20 hour/week position that is eligible for part time benefits, and a $2,500 sign on bonus!

Schedule: (Job share position with another BCH social worker)

Wednesdays 12:30-5
Thursday 8:30-5
Fridays 8:30-5
