We are currently looking for a Head of Direct to Consumer (DTC) Inventory Control and Loss Prevention.

This Senior Manager Level Position will oversee both the Inventory Control and Loss Prevention Departments, ensuring inventory accuracy, process improvement, in-store controlling, system accuracy, policy adherence and loss prevention awareness. Position reports to the Sr. Director of Operations.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain close relationships with PUMA North America (PNA) Operations, Allocations, People & Organization, Finance, Legal, IT, Store Development, District and Regional Field management teams while supporting store level management.

  • Optimize PNA retail stores' product receiving processes, inventory integrity, damages & mismate compliance, shrink prevention, controlling and exception reporting.

  • Lead team toward perpetual inventory and in-transit integrity through appropriate controls, reporting, review, and reconciliation methods

  • Develop and maintain operational control policy and procedures.

  • Manage the RFID Process, including development of Policy and Procedure, oversight of the physical inventory process, and serve as project manager for future RFID initiatives. .

  • Manage Physical Inventory compilation, shrink result analytics, control audits and analytical reporting.

  • Compile, analyze and communicate key performance indicators to corporate management and field personnel.

  • Manage the Target Store Program, inclusive of development and execution.

  • Leader of the Loss Prevention program for US and Canada Retail stores

  • Liaison with 3rd party Loss Prevention company on program development, improvements, and investigations & audits

  • When necessary, work with law enforcement on CCTV or other requests

  • Analyze loss prevention & shrink industry trends, propose new processes or technologies to influence positive change within the organization.

  • Manage and negotiate 3rd party agreements for loss prevention services, inventory scanning equipment, alarm systems, camera systems, security guards, digital integration and other services.

  • Position is a key partner with IT, corporate financial teams, and in related cross functional projects.

  • Retail project management lead with retail POS base systems, data warehouse design and exception report development.

  • Required to present at annual meetings, both in a corporate and field setting.

  • Quick response leader for process failures.

  • Supports external audit requests and testing.

YOUR TALENT

Qualifications

  • 8-10 years retail or relevant experience required.

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred.

  • Excellent verbal, written communication and presentation skills

  • Ability to travel domestically to stores, meeting and events (up to 25%)

  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills

  • Exceptional skills in conflict management, coaching and flexibility.

  • Advanced level experience with Microsoft Excel, Power Query, Power BI and PowerPoint presentation design. Strong knowledge of Pivot Tables, Macros, VLook-ups and other Excel functions.

  • Previous experience with Retail Loss Prevention required.

  • Understanding of RFID Technology- previous experience preferred

  • Retail Pro operating system experience a plus

  • Vendor relationship management experience
