Overview

Job Purpose

The Enablement Services, Senior Trainer creates and delivers product and domain training to ICE Mortgage Technology clients and employees. The Senior is responsible for all aspects of each training project; from initial client contact, to training delivery, and final communications and reporting. The Senior Trainer is a key role in the successful onboarding of new clients onto ICE solutions and services. Additionally, the Senior Trainer engages post-implementation with existing clients to ensure that end users are equipped with the knowledge and ability to be productive with existing and newly adopted features and solutions. The Senior Trainer drives to achieve high levels of satisfaction through the delivery of product knowledge and by utilizing value-add change management training and concepts.

Responsibilities

  • Create and deliver onsite and web-based training of ICE Mortgage Technology software solutions and services.
  • Manage all aspects of assigned training projects; including client contact and coordination prior to the engagement, setting up the training session, training delivery, validation of the clients' understanding of the material delivered, and follow-up communication with the client and ICE team members.
  • Drive continuous improvement of training programs by conducting post-training satisfaction surveys and providing feedback and recommendations to the training manager and course developers.
  • Mentor team members in best practices for delivering training of the ICE Mortgage Technology platform.
  • Maintain current expertise and knowledge of the mortgage industry and all ICE Mortgage Technology product offerings at an advanced level of understanding.
  • Develop and drive special projects to drive best practices and assist team members in overall understanding of the ICE Mortgage Technology platform capabilities.
  • Ensure adoption of ICE Mortgage Technology platform and services through efficient training programs.
  • Coach and mentor junior trainers to encourage internal skill building and development.
  • May require travel up to 30%.

Knowledge and Experience

  • Bachelor Degree or equivalent certifications and experience is required
  • Minimum of 6+ years of mortgage banking experience
  • Must be able to travel within the US up to 30% of the time
  • Experience using Encompass mortgage management software, both admin and end user
  • Certified Encompass Administrator preferred
  • Experience creating and delivering training for enterprise software solutions in the mortgage industry.
  • Excellent client management skills; including ensuring that training meets the client's specific needs, problems and issues are quickly resolved, and all work is completed to the client's satisfaction
  • Ability to utilize the following tools: Zoom, WebEx, Adobe Connect, MS Office Tools
  • Ability to work independently, managing and prioritizing one's own workload.
  • Strong project management skills; including status reporting, project documentation, issue resolution, time management, and communication with manager and project team members.
