Job Summary: We are looking for a Senior IT Project Manager that is passionate about healthcare technology, service to customers, and helping teams succeed! This person will be a key contributor on the team and lead a variety of software development and data engineering initiatives.

We are seeking a skilled Senior IT Project Manager to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, with specific experience in healthcare IT projects. As a Senior IT Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and delivery of IT projects within the healthcare domain. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and in alignment with organizational goals. The Project Manager must demonstrate a history of exceptional leadership, have outstanding organizational and interpersonal skills, be a team player, and have a strong drive for success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the planning and implementation of healthcare IT projects, including EMR/EHR implementations, software upgrades, and infrastructure enhancements.
  • Develop project scopes, objectives, and timelines in collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including project plans, schedules, and status reports.
  • Coordinate resources, both internal and external, to ensure project deliverables are met.
  • Monitor project progress and identify and address any issues or risks that may arise.
  • Communicate project status, updates, and risks to stakeholders and senior management.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Foster a collaborative team environment and facilitate effective communication among project team members.
  • Conduct post-project reviews to evaluate project outcomes and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Develop a working knowledge of all PopHealthCare product lines and the population healthcare industry to effectively contribute to a variety of projects.

Qualifications:

  • PMP certification preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience managing IT projects, preferably in the healthcare industry.
  • Strong understanding of healthcare IT systems, including EMR/EHR platforms, Care Management platforms, CRMs, CCaaS Products, and HL7 standards.
  • Proficiency in project management tools such as SmartSheet, JIRA, and Microsoft Project.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proven track record of successfully delivering complex IT projects on time and within budget.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Knowledge of healthcare regulations and compliance requirements, such as HIPAA and HITECH Act.
