Job Description:

The Finance Director works closely with the Vice President - Finance, and functional business Vice Presidents to guide, support and influence financial investment decisions through financial analysis and scenario planning.

In addition the position leads the development and implementation of internal controls, best practices and strategies to identify process deficiencies and implement improvements globally.

Responsibilities

  • Develop complex financial models to help support business cases and drive investment decisions (Capex, NPD, product moves).
  • Actively participate in NPD Gate Review, Product Road-mapping, Capex water lining, Operations reviews and Business planning.
  • Support the VP Engineering as the finance business partner.
  • Align compliance standards with Terex and design improvements to internal control structures.
  • Enhance compliance and organization reputation by bringing compliance recognition to Genie.
  • Lead, develop and mentor a team of professionals and liaise with segment FP&A, Commercial and operational finance functions to achieve departmental finance objectives, ensuring financial and operational compliance.

Basic Qualifications

  • 10+ years' experience in finance at large, multinational manufacturing company
  • Bachelor's degree in finance or closely related field

Desired Technical Skills / Experience

  • Experience in manufacturing industry is preferred
  • Manager-of-people experience preferred
  • Experience in an international environment and ability to interact successfully with different cultures
  • Experience reporting within complex legal entity and multi-currency reporting structures
  • Experience managing key projects which cross departments and business entities
  • Proficient in One Stream, Cognos or other BI tool and advanced user of Excel
  • Proficient in Oracle, SAP or other major ERP
  • Strong collaboration and strategic decision-making skills
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Structured approach, data-driven and analytical

Salary

The salary range for this position is $171k - $209k. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc.
