Responsibilities

The Integration Engineer is responsible for creating flexible, secure, and efficient pathways for data to travel between internal and external systems and applications through design, development and implementation of APIs and data integration pipelines. The role works closely with technology architects and business stakeholders to ensure the timeliness and accuracy of data integrated between systems.

    Integration Engineer

    • Design, develop, and implement data integration and pipelines between applications to ensure the accurate and timely collection, storage, and management of data.

    • Develop APIs and integrations to support changing applications and business models.

    • Work closely with architects, analysts and business stakeholders to define, document and create integration requirements.

    • Diagnose, triage, and resolve data integration issues including performance and data discrepancies.

    • Document integration processes and data flow diagrams.

    • Ensure efficient and error free data transfer between systems by developing and maintaining ETL(Extract, Transform, Load) processes and workflows.

    • Engage in data integrity issue resolutions partnering with application and system stakeholders to ensure the accurate and timely integration of data between systems.

  • Data Engineering

    • Design and implement solutions that meet the reporting and analytics needs of the organization.

    • Integrate data from disparate systems and sources to create a unified data source for analytics.

    • Collaborate with Engineers, Architects, and Analysts to ensure the accurate and timely curation of data.

    • Build data pipelines that enable efficient access to data.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in information science, data management or related field or 6 years of related work experience.
  • 2 years of experience designing and implementing integration solutions.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience API development, Mulesoft Dataweave, and Cloudhub.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience with ETL processes.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience data and application integration.
  • Minimum 2 years of advanced SQL skills including design and optimization of complex queries, views and functions across multiple database systems.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with data architecture and modeling tools Databricks, Azure Data Factory, Python
  • In-depth understanding of relational databases, unstructured data and integrations.
  • Experience in Azure Devops and CI/CD, Java development, Mulesoft custom policy and/or connectors development.
  • Experience with large scale enterprise integrated solutions.
  • Experience with Cerner, Salesforce, Oracle EBS enterprise applications.
  • Knowledge and experience in developing solutions compliant with Healthcare regulatory rules including HIPAA and CFR42.
  • Knowledge and experience with complex data structures and business models.
  • Knowledge of JSON, XML, YAML.
