Responsible for assisting shift supervisor with the supervision of employees and production within the department, including quality control, production flow, problem solving, and training of employees. Manages all aspects of the department in absence of the shift supervisor.

KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS / ABILITIES

• 5 years related experience

• Manufacturing experience
• Full knowledge of at least one department and basic knowledge of the entire lab Must be able to sit or stand for prolonged periods of time
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues
• Must be able to sit or stand for prolonged periods of time
• Be able perform repetitive movements with upper and lower extremities.
• Requires ability to sustain lengthy periods of visual concentration and good hand/eye/foot coordination.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-task production environment.
• Have the ability to focus for long periods of time
• Have an eye for attention to detail and symmetry
• Have solid dexterity and mechanical skills
