Job Summary

The primary responsibility of this job group is to assist the Value Stream Leader in manufacturing operations or to make materials available for disposition in the work environment. Duties will involve a variety of tasks but not limited to the following activities: performing assembly, testing, training, machining, problem solving, and taking corrective action to assigned products or areas, operation of material handling equipment, receiving, counting, loading, or unloading transportation vehicles.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Display owner mindset in facilitating excellence in execution of production processes.
• Troubleshoot production equipment and processes.
• Use of miscellaneous hand and measuring tools, gauges, test equipment, power lift equipment and tow motor operation
• Part preparation, labeling, movement, and tracking
• Inspection and quality tracking and reporting
• Conformance to production and administrative procedures
• Must be able to communicate with leaders and work well with others in a team environment.
• Beyond the tasks directly involved with building Nordson products, responsibilities include:
  • Appropriately distribute Production Orders to available Team Members
  • Take action to insure parts flow to production processes.
  • Facilitate training of co-workers to build great teams.
  • Manage expedite requests.
  • Promote and facilitate workflow continuity and operational excellence.
  • Timely and accurate processing of production and inventory documents.
  • Facilitate 6S & housekeeping procedures.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education and Experience Requirements

• High School diploma required.

• Relevant experience associated with the task to be performed preferred.
