Job Description

Position Summary:

Individual will work within a multi-disciplinary security team to support program efforts for the Wireless Intrusion Detection System (WIDS) and responding to events within facilities. The individual will be responsible for routinely patrolling assigned building(s) with handheld tools and complete written reports. Individuals will regularly interact with customers and collaborate with Program Management

  • Customer Service focused in a fast paced environment
  • Attention to detail while presenting a professional image.
  • Prepare, track, and maintain reports and metrics for program support
  • Ensure compliance with all policies and procedures
  • Complete and track program deliverables
  • Work and collaborate with management and engineering personnel
  • Develop and maintain relationships with various program stakeholders

Required Experience:

  • REQUIRED - Active clearance of TS/SCI w/ Polygraph
  • High School Diploma/GED with 10 - 12 years of experience
  • Associate's Degree with 8-10 years of experience
  • Bachelor's Degree with 5-7 years of experience
  • Demonstrated basic operational proficiency with common computer operating systems and programs
  • Basic knowledge of computer networking and wireless communication systems
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Flexibility to support various locations and schedule
  • Ability to deal effectively and tactfully with a wide variety of individuals I person, via telephone and in writing.
  • Must have strong multitasking skills

Desired Experience:

  • Direction-finding (DF) or geo-locating wireless signals
  • Report writing and technical documentation
  • Understanding of RF principles and theory
  • Work in the physical or information security field

Abilities:

  • Exposure to computer screens for an extended period of time.
  • Sitting for extended periods of time.
  • Reach by extending hands or arms in any direction.
  • Have finger dexterity in order to manipulate objects with fingers rather than whole hands or arms, for example, using a keyboard.
  • Listen to and understand information and ideas presented through spoken words and sentences.
  • Communicate information and ideas in speaking so others will understand.
  • Read and understand information and ideas presented in writing.
  • Apply general rules to specific problems to produce answers that make sense.
  • Identify and understand the speech of another person.
