ABOUT THIS POSITION

We're looking for an experienced, driven, and bold Social Media & Content Marketing Associate to establish refreshed content strategy for Inspire organic channels, including the mining & creation of compelling and authentic content that can be used in organic, and elevated to other channels when successful/appropriate. This role will connect with prospective and implanted customers and be the vessel for sharing authentic, strategic, conversion-focused content across all organic direct-to-patient social media channels - and supporting the use of that content in other channels as opportunities are identified. The role will be responsible for maintaining the full organic social strategy including conceptualization, planning, content creation, reporting and analysis.

OPPORTUNITIES YOU WILL HAVE IN THIS ROLE

  • Establish a vision for Inspire social media strategy for all Inspire organic channels including Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn and YouTube.
  • Work alongside the brand, content and patient nurturing team to ensure all messaging is in lockstep across each channel and ideate and execute those messages natively based on channel best practices.
  • Build and execute plans for brand campaigns, social first campaigns through a managed social media content calendar.
  • Collaborate closely with other team members in patient marketing, and more broadly in the organization, to intake & execute on additional content needs for our organic social channels (i.e. PR stories, blog posts, investor-related content, physician-facing content, thought leadership, etc.)
  • Proactively introduce a caring and candid voice across social media channels, helping to expand our audience and reach.
  • Clear understanding of Inspire brand guidelines to ensure all content is on-brand, consistent in terms of style, quality and tone of voice, and optimized for search and user experience.
  • Content generation (still & video) for use across marketing team (paid and organic channels).
  • Work with cross functional partners, customers and social influencers to mine for, train and create user generated content authentic to channel.
  • Measure the success of social media channels and initiatives, analyze results, and effectively adjust strategies to improve communication and channel effectiveness.
  • Implement social listening best practices to help inform content strategies, broader marketing initiatives, and identify potential influencer/partner opportunities.
  • Partner with social media moderation team (which sits separately alongside our public response/engagement center group), whenever applicable, to share learnings & provide proactive information ahead of new content/campaigns so that they are adequately prepared for comment and engagement influxes.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Marketing, business, or communications required.
  • 2-4 years in consumer-facing social media marketing
  • Understanding of marketing strategy.
  • In-depth understanding of existing and emerging social channels.
  • Deep understanding of social media channel algorithms.
  • Experience building and executing social media strategy across platforms.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of social media platforms and digital communications best practices, tools, and measurement.
  • Experience with social management and listening tools (specifically Sprinklr preferred)
  • Experience in mining content, especially user-generated content, to identify still & video content that can be repurposed for brand channels & tactics
  • Excellent communication, writing & video editing for social skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge and understanding of paid media and SEO.
  • Experience creating communication strategies and messaging
  • Experience in a regulated industry (ex. Healthcare, Medical Technology, Finance)
  • Experience executing brand partnerships and/or influencer partnerships within social
