The School of Nursing is seeking a dynamic Administrative Specialist, Senior. The Administrative Specialist, Senior ensures smooth academic unit operations through various administrative tasks.

WHAT WILL YOU DO:

This position is responsible for report generation, database management, event coordination, and stakeholder liaison.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

Calendar and Meeting Coordination:

  • Manages calendars, develops agendas, and maintains meeting records for the Associate Dean.
  • Ensures secure storage of meeting minutes and attachments, following GSU record-keeping policies.

Reporting and Survey Management:

  • Oversees report creation and data collection, utilizing university databases.
  • Safely stores surveys and reports for accreditation organizations.

Event Coordination:

  • Organizes various meetings and ceremonies for the Associate Dean's office.
  • Provides administrative support for special events like the Pinning Ceremony and Honor's Day.

Travel Coordination:

  • Arranges travel logistics for the Associate Dean and faculty members.

Faculty Support:

  • Facilitates faculty evaluation processes and serves as a liaison with the College's HR office for file transfers.

Website and Donor Coordination:

  • Collaborates with the College Website manager and Director of Development to manage website updates and donor appreciation efforts.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree and four years of related experience; or a combination of education and related experience.
