Primary Purpose:

The Customer Solutions Representative is responsible for ensuring customers receive their orders on-time and to specification. This role interacts with customers, suppliers, and service providers via phone and email to employ a consultative solutions approach to process numerous business transactions effectively and efficiently. ChemPoint resources are utilized to formulate and deliver solutions based on customer and supplier needs.

What You'll Do:

  • Screens all incoming purchase orders and customer requests for effective action item delegation and team workload management placing and processing orders
  • Places orders into CRM system and updates orders as requested
  • Follows and/or implements special instructions for various accounts
  • Maintains accurate and up-to-date notation on all service incidents
  • Takes incoming phone calls to respond to customer inquiries keeping in mind organization's principles to build customer confidence, set appropriate expectations and offer solutions
  • Collaborates with Sales team to address customer concerns and set proper expectations
  • Works closely with 3rd party logistics providers and logistics teams to effectively manage outbound orders
  • Maintains exceptional customer fulfillment service levels
  • Participates in training and constructively provides feedback in the form of peer coaching
  • Focuses on meeting all individual and team objectives, deadlines and responsibilities while actively promoting a team atmosphere

What You'll Need:

Education/Experience/Training:

  • Bachelor's degree from fully accredited four-year institution or equivalent work experience
  • Experience in Business-to-Business (B2B) service organization or 1 year of experience in equivalent job(s) preferred

Specialized Knowledge/Skills:

  • Knowledge and experience working with MS Office Suite
  • Demonstrates sound judgment and creative problem solving
  • Open to taking moderate risks with a competitive spirit
  • Demonstrates a commitment to accuracy and accountability for job performance
  • Receptive to constructive feedback from peers and mentors
  • Strong work ethic and team-oriented mind set
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to effectively convey ideas and suggestions via multiple modes of communication
  • Ability to work independently and in teams of various sizes to complete a tactical workload
  • Exhibits versatility and adaptability while interacting with customers, suppliers and outsourced relationships

Where You'll Work:

This is a hybrid role. Office location: Bellevue, WA. Preference for candidates located in the greater Seattle area.

Pay and Benefits:

The salary range for this position is $44,600 - $66,800. The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate's relevant experience, education, training, certifications, qualifications, and work location. In addition, this position is eligible for incentive pay. Available employee benefits include health, vision, and dental. We also provide 401k matching for retirement and paid time off.
