Job Description

Job Characteristics:

Position will assist with various reporting projects while working closely with key business stakeholders to identify data and reporting needs, capture, and document requirements and then ensure those requirements are delivered. BI Manager will use Business Analysis skills to help conduct and in-depth investigation of the reporting project by gathering and analyzing technical and non-technical specs. The role will work cross with various cross functional IT and Business leads. Act as Business Relationship Manager to the divisional stakeholders.

This position can be based either in Saint Paul, MN or Naperville, IL

What You Will Do

  • Work directly with the Business Product Owner and divisional stakeholders to support various reporting projects
  • Assist in development of best in practice tools and consistent standardized reporting dashboards for divisional finance partners and senior management
  • Manage a team of 2-3 business analysts and help them with development and support :-
    • Assist the team in writing clear and well-structured business requirements/documents from stakeholders
    • Experience in using business tools such as Dev Ops for user story planning, tracking and documentation needs
    • Communicate and validate requirements with development team
    • Perform User Acceptance Testing and data checkouts
    • Assist team with L1/L2/L3 Support responsibilities for products owned by the team
  • Collaborate with Global BI management on roadmap planning and prioritization
  • Continually identify and execute process improvements

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Finance, Accounting, or related field
  • 7-10 years of work experience in Reporting and analytics, IT systems, Business process analysis, re-engineering etc
  • Business and Finance Acumen
  • Power BI experience or any reporting tool
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • High attention to detail and the ability to work independently
  • Comfortable dealing with ambiguity; able to self-manage well; highly accountable
  • Result oriented; proactive; and possesses a high level of integrity
  • Highly proficient in Excel
  • No immigration sponsorship available for this position.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior experience working with large data sets, data analytics, coding, connecting data sets
  • Business and Finance Acumen
  • Coding experience with DAX, M, or SQL
