About this role:

Lead a high-performing software development team designing web-based medical device software. The software engineering manager oversees the design, development, release, and sustaining activities of the software. The manager ensures the development process complies with the established quality system.

This position will lead the LATITUDE Remote Patient Management System's Application Development Team. This team is responsible for updating LATITUDE to support implantable cardiac pacemakers, defibrillators, and cardiac diagnostic devices.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Recruit, coach, and develop organizational talent for a growing team.

  • Provide direction and guidance to exempt specialists and/or supervisory staff who exercise significant latitude and independence in their assignments. Will supervise non-exempt employees.
  • Keep the organization's vision and values at the forefront of decision making and action.
  • Demonstrate effective change leadership.
  • Build strategic partnerships to further departmental and organizational objectives.
  • Develop and execute organizational and operational policies that affect one or more groups by utilizing technical/professional knowledge and skills.
  • Monitor compliance with company policies and procedures (e.g. compliance with FDA, MDR, EEO regulations, etc.).
  • Make decisions regarding work processes and operational plans and schedules to achieve department objectives.
  • Develop, monitor, and adjust the annual budget for department.

Required qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 7-9 years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Advanced degree preferred.
