Bachelor's degree in science or related field plus five (5) years of administrative experience or
Master's degree in science or related field plus three (3) years of administrative experience required.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Experience with data analytics, collection of data, and statistical and graphical analysis of data.
Experience with Microsoft Word and Excel, specifically with Pivot tables.
Preferred Qualifications:
Research Project Management experience.
Research Administration experience.
Budget development experience.

CRA-Clinical Research Associate as soon as eligible to apply
CRS- Certified Research Specialist within 18 months of hire.
GMPA certification within 18 months of hire.
Additional Information:
Responsibilities:
Serves as secondary contact for iLAB as the administrator of the iLAB system.
Creates daily account activities, account set-ups, reporting, and Monthly, and quarterly analysis of all CORE billings and financials for the COM.
Performs quarterly, CORE subsidy transfers.
Assists with statistical and graphical analysis of data. IT integration.
Manages of all COM CORE's transitioning from departments to office of research.
Responsible for updating the COM Research website. This includes weekly updates, working with other offices to ensure links are valid and active.
Responsible for managing the COM research dashboard.
Responsible for managing committee meetings for the office of research. Which includes working with the current Chair of the committee to create agenda items, manage guests.
Creates charter for the council.
Takes meeting minutes and disseminate minutes to the committee.
Responsible for working with the Vice Dean for Research to set up sub-committees, and address concerns of the research community.
Works with the Office of Sponsored Projects Administrative Network (OSPAN), and be the primary reviewer and approver of all projects routing through MUSE and CLARA.
Assists with clinical trial projects including review of study related transactions via UAMS financial system.
Responsible for data analytics for the COM office of research. Duties will include performing financial data analysis, data mining, data modeling, and proformas, related to COM financials related to research.
Performs return on investment analysis pertaining to COM funded grant activities as well as other statistical quantitative and computational analysis.
Serves as a liaison and work closely with faculty, administrative staff, and offices for safety and compliance (including: Department of Laboratory and Animal Medicine, (DLAM), Institutional Review Board (IRB), Clinical Trials Offices), and all other UAMS offices on behalf of the COM Office of Research.
Responsible for ensuring that both institutional and regulatory compliance policies and guidelines are adhered to.
Works in conjunction with the COM Dean's office during the annual budget process. Key responsibilities will include coordination and review of CORE budget hearings, CORE financial reviews, CORE financial analysis, and assisting with annual grant reports to supply to departments to assist with the budget process.
Performs other duties as assigned.
