Salesforce Inc. seeks Director, Business Analysis in Austin, TX:

Job Duties: Plan, direct, or coordinate activities in such fields as electronic data processing, information systems, systems analysis, and computer programming. Lead analytics projects and resources and focus on coordination of the planning, execution of deliverables with responsibility for timelines, results, socialization, and follow-up. Use data analytics to recommend solutions to improve digital, preferably self-serve performance. Use strong analytical and critical thinking skills, familiarity with large data sets, and fluency with data manipulation tools and BI reporting tools such as SQL, Python, Tableau, and Power BI. Structure and conduct analyses to generate insight and recommendations. Play the role of interpreter to executives across our Support team. Conceptualize and develop statistical models for prediction, digital attribution, and/or machine learning. Utilize experience with digital metrics tracking/measurement. Proven sophisticated statistical techniques like experimental design and regression analysis to measure digital marketing critical metrics, return on investment, sentiment analysis, and A/B testing. Expertise with one or more website analytics platforms (e.g., Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, Heap). Telecommuting is an option. Some travel to Salesforce offices may be required.

Minimum Requirements: Master's degree (or its foreign degree equivalent) in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Engineering (any field), or a related quantitative discipline, and six (6) years of experience in the field of business intelligence and data analytics or six (6) years of experience in the job offered OR Bachelor's degree (or its foreign degree equivalent) in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Engineering (any field), or a related quantitative discipline, and eight (8) years of progressively responsible experience in the field of business intelligence and data analytics or eight (8) years of experience in the job offered.

A related technical degree required (Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Engineering (any field)).

Special Skill Requirements: (1) SQL (6 years); (2) Power BI (6 years); (3) Tableau (6 years); (4) Einstein Analytics; (5) Adobe Omniture; (7) Google Analytics; (8) Technology Consulting or Software Engineering; (9) Data Modeling (6 years); (10) Business Intelligence (6 years); (11) Project Management (6 years); (12) Creating and presenting reports to executive leadership (6 years) Any suitable combination of education, training and/or experience is acceptable. Telecommuting is an option. Some travel to Salesforce offices may be required.
