Job Description

WHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS POSITION:

  • Have the ability to translate distribution requirements plan from demand planning master production schedules & purchase finished procurement plans for designated portfolio.

  • Own the allocation of capacity to global distribution with load leveling and other techniques.

WE WILL LOOK TO THIS ROLE TO PARTICIPATE IN THE SALES & OPERATIONS PLANNING PROCESS BY:

  • Generating master production plan based on information provided.

  • Leading supply reviews with key members.

  • Provide available capacity to leadership and segment executives.

  • Providing input into other areas of SIOP

  • Create, analyze, & apply planning inputs to help build the schedule.

  • Set up, lead, & update planning master data and tools. Ensures quality and integrity of information used to generate materials requirements plan.

  • Build, lead, and report on critical metrics around utilization, productivity, & performance to business/shipments/inventory/production plan.

  • Lead & implement other projects & duties as needed.

  • Occasional travel (10%).

YOU HAVE:

  • Ideally 5+ years of relevant Supply Chain planning experience.

  • Bachelor's degree in Operations Management, Supply Chain, or Industrial Engineering preferred.

  • APICs certified in CPIM or working towards preferred.

  • Ideally 2+ years in a master planning role with supervisory experience of production planners preferred.

  • Strong interpersonal skills for collaboration with cross-functional teams outside of Supply Chain around the world.

  • Thorough and in-depth knowledge of Master Production Scheduling, Production Planning, and Capacity Planning.

  • High level SAP ERP experience required with implementation experience of PP and/or MM modules a bonus.

  • Experience in SAP with APO/IBP modules an asset.

  • Solid experience in MS Excel (e.g. if functions, pivot tables, etc.); macros desired but not required.

  • Highly analytical and able to analyze and process large datasets.
