80% Laboratory-based studies
Design, conduct, analyze experiments and report findings to PI or research team.

10% Writing
Lead manuscript writing and contribute to grants and reviews.

10% Mentoring
Mentor undergraduate students and more junior people in the laboratory.

Summary of Position:
Postdoctoral positions are open to study the purification and analysis of sirtuin proteins and characterization of small molecule activators of their diverse enzymatic functions.

Required Qualifications:
PhD in biochemistry or related biological field. Must have expertise in one or more of the following depending upon the project: protein purification, enzymology, proteomics.

Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working alone or in teams as well as manuscript writing preferred.
