Duties:
* Create and follow analytics project plan while working on an Agile work team.
* Develop and leverage advanced analytics models, segmentations, and/or AI methods, to produce sound business insights that can be scaled and applied across global business areas.
* Generate and combine insights from large and/or disparate data sources.
* Partner and collaborate with others within the Consumer and Market Insights function, serving as an analytics consultant.
* Effectively translate analytics results into actionable business strategies and communicate to all levels of the organization including senior leadership to influence business decisions.
* Staying abreast of latest advances in decision and data sciences, predictive and prescriptive analytics, and identifying opportunities within General Mills for application.
* Mentor others in AI modeling methods, deployment, and project management.
* Up to 25% domestic travel required for position.

Requirements:
Employer will accept a Master's degree in Applied Mathematics, Economics, Statistics, Computer Science, Business Intelligence & Analytics or related field and three (3) years of experience in the job offered or in a data science or marketing analytics-related occupation.


Position requires three (3) years of experience in the following:
1. Collaborating with stakeholders to understand business problems/objectives, scoping project plan and roadmap, and devising actionable solutions to drive business results;
2. Big Query, Vertex AI, and Airflow tools and services from the Google Cloud Platform. Must also have hands- on experience creating and deploying scalable models;
3. At least one of the following: GitHub, Atlassian, or Confluence;
4. At least one of the following: Nielsen IQ, IRI, or Numerator;
5. Utilizing aggregate (i.e., point-of-sale) and disaggregate (i.e., household level) data for marketing and behavioral analytics and insights within the CPG, FMCG or Retail industries - including analyzing business performance by defining key product metrics and building capabilities to monitor progress against KPIs;
6. Leveraging data to optimize marketing efforts and improve consumer growth and engagement by employing techniques including segmentation analysis, performance marketing analysis and audience building segmentation;
7. Conducting full data science lifecycle from data architecture and engineering to advising business on the application of analytics insights, including conducting predictive and prescriptive analytics, design, and implementation of models with both Python and R.
8. Unsupervised learning techniques, anomaly detection, dimensionality reduction, and forecasting techniques; and
9. Translating advanced analytics results into actionable results and insights, and regularly communicating with stakeholders, including senior leadership, on the financial and business impact with the application of the insights.

Background check and drug testing required.

The salary range for this position $128,750 - 174,600.
