Responsibilities

The Vines Hospital is currently recruiting for a Full Time Referral Management Center Liaison

The Liaison will be responsible for the timely processing of inquiry and referral calls. Serves as liaison to referral sources, physicians, unit staff and hospital personnel involved with each transfer request. Enters call data into the facility's database and manages all e-fax application(s) to process incoming referrals and transfer requests in a timely manner. Effectively communicate with unit staff, physicians, and Admissions Triage Staff. Follow hospital's policies and procedures regarding referral management.

Must be willing to work M-F, 3:00pm-11:30pm and flexible to cover the morning shift and weekends when needed.

The Vines Hospital, located in Ocala, FL is a premier behavioral health facility offering individualized mental health and addiction treatment to adults and adolescents in a secure and private setting.. Our services also includes partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient programs. We offer acute psychiatric, detox, and PTSD treatment.

Qualifications

Required Education/Training:

  • LPN or RN in a Behavioral Health related field or Master's level Counselor required

Experience:

  • 1-3 years of experience working in a behavioral health or psychiatric health care setting .
  • Experience working with adolescents with mental and emotional issues.
  • Experience in assessment and level of care determination
  • Experience in office management and effective communication with community resources and interdisciplinary teams.
  • Experience in insurance certification and case reviews

Licensure/Certification:

  • License must be in FL

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Excellent customer service and communication skills (i.e., verbal and written).

  • Ability to prioritize; work well under periods of high stress and pressure.

  • Ability to multi-task and demonstrate critical thinking skills.

  • Thorough knowledge of psychiatric services and medical capabilities provided by the hospital.

  • Ability to work flexible hours.

  • Requires knowledge of computers and ability to utilize Department specific electronic applications; and accurate data entry skills.

  • Experience reviewing medical and clinical information to staff appropriately with physician is preferred.
