SEL Elementary Engagement Coach and Social Worker (Teacher on Special Assignment)
Full Time - 2024-25 school year

Social-Emotional Learning (SEL) Engagement Coach (Teacher on Special Assignment) will provide support to elementary schools by consulting with administration, teachers, special education staff, and other support personnel to develop intervention strategies, help problem solve and design student plans that strengthen relationships with young people, provide greater engagement in learning and provide a greater development of social-emotional competence with our students.

Duties: Facilitate the implementation of interventions and strategies for students with staff. Serve as a resource for teachers in managing student behavior. Work collaboratively with building administration. School-year position.

Minimum Qualifications: School Social Worker License.
(Anoka-Hennepin will make every effort to hire teachers with full standard licenses in the assigned subject and grade level.)

Preferred Qualifications: Advanced training in Social-Emotional Learning.

Start Date: 8/26/24. This position may be filled immediately after 7 posting days (after: 4/26/24) by an appropriately licensed candidate (PELSB Tier 3 or Tier 4 license).
