We're an award-winning IT solutions provider to the Federal government seeking a Senior Project Manager - Customer Engagement who will be responsible for integrating and coordinating activities to engage customers to understand their mission and operations, identify resulting IT needs, and oversee the IT projects through the project lifecycle.

This hybrid position will require at least 2 days on-site in Washington, DC each week.

US Citizenship is required for this role. In addition, the selected applicant must submit to a government background investigation and be favorably adjudicated before their first day.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Facilitate stakeholder working sessions focused on making sound data-driven IT investment decisions are consistent with established strategic goals.
  • Understand customer perspectives and viewpoints, to resolve and strengthen relationships between ACF Tech and customers
  • Lead cross-functional teams, managing new IT requests through the governance process
  • Analyze and establish system information requirements in support of new IT requests
  • Assist others with analysis and evaluation and with the preparation of recommendations for improvements, optimization, development, in the following specialties: information systems, networking; telecommunications, automation; communications protocols, risk management, software; lifecycle management, software development methodologies.
  • Provide daily supervision and direction to staff.
  • Manage and maintain contractor interface with the senior levels of the customer's organization. customer and contractor
  • Consult with customer and contractor personnel to formulate and review task plans and deliverables, ensuring conformance with program and project task schedules, costs, and contractual obligations.
  • Establish and maintain technical and financial reports to show the progress of projects to management and customers.
  • Organize and assign responsibilities to team members

REQUIRED SKILLS:

  • Minimum of eight (8) years of overall work experience
  • Excellent verbal, interpersonal, and written communication skills.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.
  • Team player with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must possess strong analytical, organizational, and project management skills.
  • Demonstrated an outstanding level of professionalism in providing client support, including the ability to exercise good judgment, discretion, tact, and diplomacy.
  • Sound business ethics, including the protection of proprietary and confidential information.
  • Ability to work with all levels of internal staff, outside clients, and vendors.
  • Superior interpersonal skills including courtesy, professionalism, and a cooperative attitude.

EDUCATION:

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Management Systems, Business, or a related field
  • PMP preferred

Internal title/grade: Project Manager, Grade 7

All individuals being hired to work for TCG must submit to, and successfully pass, a pre-employment background investigation prior to reporting for their first day of work.
