Job Description
Associate Director, Data & Analytics, GroupM Worldwide, LLC, New York, NY. Support development and deployment of products and services across multiple platforms and cloud environments. Collaborate with cross-functional team of client leads, application developers, operations engineers, and architects to translate complex product requirements into technical specs and design requirements. Maintain cloud data architecture and ETL best practices specifically across Google Cloud Platform products and services. Consult and act as subject matter expert for internal stakeholders. Manage project timelines and deliverable schedules and share concerns about deliverables, timelines, and issues with project managers and directors. Utilize knowledge of advertising ecosystem, understanding of advertising metrics, common platforms, and data and analytical products. Build data pipes landing large files into Azure, GCP, and AWS for processing, developing, cleansing data for Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning purposes. Deliver data engagements in areas such as data architecture, data integration, data governance, data quality, and Business Intelligence reporting. Supervise, train, and mentor experienced and junior data analysts and managers.
40 hrs/week, Mon-Fri, 8:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. Salary: $163,238/yr.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent degree in Statistics, Engineering (any), Computer Science, Information Technology, Analytics, or a related field, and five (5) years of post-bachelor, progressive, related work experience.
Must have two (2) years of experience with/in:
•Cloud services including Cloud Storage, DataProc, Dataflow, CloudSQL, and/or BigQuery;
•SQL and Python;
•Data architecture fundamentals, database design and programming, data management and profiling, ETL, and custom query development;
•Source code management systems;
•Project management tools including SCRUM or Agile; and
•Data, insights, analytics, project management and technology with expertise in digital media.
