Nursing is the diagnosis and treatment of human response to actual or potential health problems. This includes establishing an intentional therapeutic relationship between a registered nurse and a patient and family. As a leader and the integrator of care, the professional nurse has the responsibility, authority, and accountability for planning, coordinating and evaluating the patient's care needs.Key Position Details:
The Rapid Response Team is a unique group of Critical Care Trained Registered Nurses who respond to emergent situations throughout the hospital. They are specially trained with additional critical care skills to assist the staff RNs in emergent situations for our patient care population. They are assisting the RN staff on all floors of the hospital in patient care situations where additional guidance is required. The skills of this group helps to decrease the number of Dr. Blues outside of the intensive care units and avoid negative results by early patient intervention.
Current RN licensure in the State of Minnesota
Tier 1: Minimum of 2 years of current critical care experience within the last 4 years required
Shift- Night
FTE- 0.9
Weekend Rotation- Every 3rd Weekend
