Sun Country Airlines is seeking a Commissary Assistant to pack and prepare required onboard carts for all Scheduled and Charter Flights.

Commissary Assistant Overview:

The Commissary Assistant position will be responsible for packing and preparing required onboard carts for all Scheduled and Charter Flights. This will include Buy on Board, Crew Meals, Supply Carts, Personal Supply Kits, and Snack Kits.

Essential roles and responsibilities of a Commissary Assistant:

  • Prepare Buy on Board packages, Crew Meal and Supply Carts for all Scheduled and Charter Flights.
  • Prepare Personal Supply Kits for aircrafts.
  • Build snack kits for Casino and Military Charter Service.
  • Assist with stocking beverage carts & soda.
  • Clean carts, ice tubs, ice scoops and trays.
  • Maintain cleanliness of workspace.
  • Put delivered supplies in appropriate area.
  • Other Duties as assigned.

The qualifications we are looking for in a Commissary Assistant include:

  • Basic math skills.
  • Ability to read and comprehend English.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask effectively.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Must be task oriented with the ability to work independently.
  • Must have the ability to work flexible work hours including availability to work holidays and weekends.

PREFERRED SKILLS

  • Previous airline experience.
  • Forklift experience.

ADDITIONAL NOTES

Must be able to obtain a SIDA badge.
