Yoh has a contract opportunity for a Director, International Marketing role with our client in the entertainment industry located in Burbank, CA.



  • 3-Months (with the possibility of extension)
  • Pay Rate: $2,211 - $2,692/week (Exempt role)
  • Hybrid (3 days Onsite in Burbank, CA)
Overview:

The Director plays a key role in the strategic facilitation and project management of international campaigns for select theatrical titles. We are looking for a creative and digital-forward, organized individual with strong communication and collaboration skills who is passionate about the Entertainment business. This role will work with all three regions (EMEA, LATAM, and APAC) as well as internal stakeholders and co-distribution partners to drive marketing success.



Roles & Responsibilities:

  1. Works with Senior Vice President of International Marketing in the development and implementation of marketing campaigns including strategy, creative direction and planning across all departments and disciplines.
  2. Along with SVP and VP, communicates and develops key global strategies, timelines and presentations.
  3. Works collaboratively with other key departments in campaign planning and execution: digital, publicity, media, promotions, and research.
  4. Assist the team in managing the full workflow of a theatrical campaign, including initial big ideas generation, creative asset logistics, presentation preparation and campaign wrap-ups.
  5. Works closely with markets on the creative and digital campaign management - nuancing local cultural creatives and strategies to ensure global alignment, but also leave flexibility on specific local needs. Reviewing all assets from a creative and digital strategy perspective.
  6. Manages and oversees responsibilities executed by Manager/Sr. Administrator, including deadlines, reviewing market submissions and creative executions, routing assets through all internal stakeholder approvals.
  7. On occasion, works with all stakeholders (filmmakers or co-distribution partners) on strategy and creative approvals.


Qualifications:

Work Experience 8+ years previous experience in Digital Marketing strongly preferred.
3+ years previous experience in Creative Advertising or Agency experience preferred.
Previous experience in International Marketing helpful
Education
College degree in Advertising, Business, Marketing or English preferred. Knowledge/Skills Strong verbal and written communication skills
Proven efficient Excel and Word
Attentive to detail
Ability to work well under pressure and flexible to work late hours to meet deadlines.
Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, prioritize workload efficiently and meet strict deadlines for complete tasks/assignments.
Self-starter. Able to initiate projects and solve problems effectively.
Ability to work with little or no supervision.
Ability to identify and propose procedural changes to supervisors to make job tasks more efficient.
Ability to delegate tasks and oversee Manager and Coordinator Physical Demands General Office Activities - Walking, Standing, Sitting, Talking, Typing and etc.
Must be able to travel internationally Mental Demands Must be able to communicate effectively and tactfully with managers and all other levels of personnel, via telephone, in person, via fax and via e-mail.
Ability to establish deadlines and structure in order to effectively complete the servicing of all advertising/publicity materials.
Must demonstrate a diplomatic, yet strong and vocal personality.
Must have an ability to organize and schedule work effectively.
Must be able to handle multiple tasks.
Must be a self-starter and an independent thinker.
Must be detail-oriented.
Must be able to effectively maintain accurate records of work in progress and follow through projects to completion.
