The Director of Product Marketing has a critical role helping evolve CCL's global marketing team and function into a strategic driver of the organization by leading the development of the Product Marketing function and discipline across lines of business. In addition to leading the Product Marketing team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing the product marketing strategy for one of our priority lines of business.

This role reports to the Senior Director, Growth Marketing and collaborates closely with the Portfolio and Sales teams.

Day in the Life

Go-to-Market strategy and execution - 30%

Define and own the overall go-to-market strategy (market definition, target customer, product messaging and positioning framework, etc.) and process across lines of business for new products/solutions, revisions, and new features.

  • Develop and drive integrated marketing plans for CCL's subscription services in collaboration with internal stakeholders e.g. portfolio/product management, marketing (channel owners, brand, etc.), and sales to ensure successful go-to-market planning, release and promotion to support business objectives.

Team management - 20%

  • Manage product marketing team and build out the product marketing function to support a large portfolio of leadership solutions and products.
  • Implement and manage effective and best practice product marketing processes, communications, tools, etc.
  • Drive team development, growth, and retention with direct reports to inspire creativity and quality in the work.
  • Foster a climate that embraces equity, diversity, and inclusion (EDI).

Sales enablement - 20%

  • Advise on the sales enablement strategy to equip sales teams with collateral and seller tools to support sales efforts throughout the sales funnel across lines of business.
  • Oversee the development and/or revision of collateral and seller tools (e.g. brochures, case studies/impact stories, videos, demos, etc.) in close collaboration with content, sales and product teams for CCL's subscription services.

Market research and competitive analysis - 10%

  • Collaborate with the data and research teams to develop a competitive insights strategy across lines of business.
  • Monitor and analyze changes to the competitive landscape for CCL's subscription services to adjust positioning/messaging and create seller tools as needed.
  • Oversee and/or execute market research for CCL's subscription services with the support of the data and research team, by gathering, interpreting, and presenting data in a clear and actionable manner to internal teams.

Performance monitoring - 10%

  • Define Product Marketing KPIs across lines of business.
  • Partner with data team and channel owners to identify success metrics and deliver comprehensive KPI reporting to continuously iterate and maximize results.

Budget management - 10%

  • Develop budget tracking process across lines of business.
  • Maintain go-to-market and campaign budget oversight and work closely with channel owners to maximize channel spend and ROI for CCL's subscription services.

Who you are

  • You have earned a Bachelor's degree or an MBA (preferred).
  • You have a track record (8+ years of experience) of driving B2B product marketing strategy and go-to-market programs for multiple products and markets.
  • You have 3+ years building and leading a high performing team and are ready to own the Product Marketing function.
  • You love collaborating across marketing and sales teams and have demonstrated a strong ability to lead, build relationships, and execute at all organizational levels, internally, externally, cross-functionally.
  • You are a self-starter with the ability to prioritize and manage your time to address multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
  • You have excellent communication and analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make fact-based decisions.
  • You enjoy and can perform both on the strategic level and have enthusiasm for getting into the details on the tactical level.
  • You have experience with or are comfortable with the Click Up project management tool or another project management tool.

      Pay and Benefits

      CCL is passionate about pay transparency and we are committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The starting salary for this role is $115,000. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to: skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and specific work location. This may be different in other locations due to differences in the cost of labor.
