Job Summary
B&A is seeking a versatile Oracle E-Business (EBS) and Application Express (APEX) Application Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining both Oracle EBS and APEX applications, providing technical expertise across both platforms. This role requires proficiency in Oracle EBS modules, APEX development, and strong problem-solving skills.
Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, test, and implement customizations and extensions to Oracle EBS modules.
  • Develop and maintain APEX applications to meet business requirements, including customization of themes, templates, and plugins.
  • Collaborate with business analysts and end-users to gather and analyze requirements for new applications and enhancements.
  • Customize Oracle EBS workflows, forms, reports, and interfaces as needed.
  • Integrate APEX applications with Oracle EBS and other systems as required.
  • Develop database objects such as tables, views, stored procedures, and triggers to support both EBS and APEX applications.
  • Implement security measures to protect EBS and APEX applications from unauthorized access and vulnerabilities.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to end-users for both EBS and APEX applications.
  • Stay updated on Oracle EBS and APEX technology advancements and best practices.
Education and Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field.
  • CompTIA Security+ certification required.
Required Skills
  • Strong proficiency in Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) R12 architecture and modules.
  • Proficiency in Oracle Application Express (APEX) development.
  • Experience with PL/SQL programming language.
  • Knowledge of SQL and database query optimization techniques.
  • Experience with Oracle Forms and Reports development.
  • Familiarity with Oracle Workflow Builder.
  • Ability to customize APEX themes, templates, and plugins.
  • Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Desired Skills
  • Experience with Oracle EBS customization and extension using Oracle Application Development Framework (ADF).
  • Familiarity with Oracle Fusion Middleware technologies.
  • Understanding of Oracle database concepts and performance tuning.
  • Knowledge of web technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript.
  • Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git, SVN).
  • Familiarity with agile development methodologies.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality solutions.
Security Clearance
  • Must be able to pass a NACL background investigation
  • U.S. citizenship or permanent residency is required
