About the role

Execute preventative maintenance. Solve root causing problems by troubleshooting or diagnosis. Lead improvement projects. Maintenance performs general upkeep on buildings' HVAC systems. This entails inspecting the premises, performing routine maintenance, and fixing any faulty wiring. Replacing electrical appliances as necessary, so the ability to read blueprints and abide by the National Electrical code is essential.

Schedule:

1st Shift Monday - Friday 6 am - 2 pm

Your responsibilities
  • Surveying sites where electrical systems are installed
  • Drafting electrical installation plans and technician diagrams
  • Installing, maintaining, modifying, and repairing all electrical systems in public spaces and buildings
  • Ensuring that electrical systems adhere to the national electrical safety standard and regulations
  • Supervising ongoing electrical system installation and providing technical expertise to installation teams where needed
  • Using blueprints, wiring diagrams and manufacture's installation manuals to complete projects
  • Completing work orders and recording materials that are used on the job
  • Identifying electrical problems and repairing them
  • Advising the company's management when to replace aged electrical equipment to prevent hazards
  • Conducting general electrical systems maintenance and troubleshooting electrical issues with testing equipment
The experience we're looking for
  • Strong knowledge in packaging and powder processing is a plus
  • An understanding of maintenance best practices, safety, quality, cost, HACCP, GMP, and regulatory compliance is a plus
  • Strong analytical and people skills are necessary in this position
  • Frequently required to stand and walk
  • Frequently required to climb ladders and/or stairs
  • Use hands to handle or feel objects, tools, and/or controls
Education / Experience
  • Journeyman electrical licenses preferred with 3+ years of working with electrical/electronic equipment in a manufacturing environment

Working Environment -

  • Heat
  • Nose >/= to 85 dBA in some areas - hearing protection required
  • Moving equipment
  • Hot product or chemicals traveling through enclosed lines near work areas depending on duty being performed
  • Dust - proper PPE provided
  • 90% of work is indoors with 10% outdoors

US salary ranges

USD$52,000.00- $78,000.00
