The Tax & Accounting (TAP) segment of Thomson Reuters accounts for 15% ($1 billion revenue) of Thomson Reuters' total revenue and serves tax, accounting and audit professionals in accounting firms with research and workflow products, focusing on intuitive tax offerings and automating tax workflows.

The Role

As Senior Marketing Manager, Audit, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, design and implementation of customer facing marketing programs and strategies, to achieve the financial and strategic objectives of the Audit business, leveraging resources on the team and in partnership with other functional marketing groups such as product marketing, digital and content.


This is a highly visible position that liaises with General Manager and the Segment President. The ideal candidate will be passionate about driving growth across the Audit workflow portfolio, exude ownership of the business, have an agile and dynamic growth mindset, and be able to deliver tangible results in a matrixed environment.

What You'll Do

  • Success in this position will be dependent on strong strategic marketing expertise balanced with executional excellence, and a "start-up" mentality to try new things and get things done.
  • Specifically, the successful candidate will focus on the following:
    • Consolidate market research, data driven insights and competitive analysis to outline key targets and define strategic marketing approach,
    • Spearhead innovative marketing campaigns across multiple channels, from paid media to digital content, events and more,
    • Deliver short- and long-term sales and pipeline objectives, in partnership with Sales.

About the Role
In this opportunity as Sr Marketing Manager, Audit, you will:

  • Set goals and deliver effective marketing strategies that fuel sales funnel, from marketing qualified lead to appointment and sales
  • Ensure customer centricity infuses marketing touchpoints and there is a strong data-backed foundation for marketing activities
  • Oversee marketing motions across all channels, including paid media, organic social, email nurture, website, events, and partner with campaign planners and execution teams to turn the vision into reality
  • Influences others to adopt a point of view for ideas and initiatives and drives strong accountability
  • Apply a broad perspective to identify innovative solutions
  • Manage budget, and optimize return on marketing spend

About You
You're a fit for the role of Sr Marketing Manager, Audit if your background includes:

  • A track record of success as a marketer, with 6+ years of marketing, growth marketing and/or demand gen experience, ideally in Tax, Audit, or SaaS industry
  • Robust experience effectively crafting and running demand generation campaigns and strategies, working closely with Sales, Marketing and Product Marketing
  • Steadfast focus on the customer experience

Thomson Reuters complies with local laws that require upfront disclosure of the expected pay range for a position. The location(s) for this role include one or more of the following metro locations: Los Angeles, New York City, San Francisco, Washington, DC. The base compensation range for the role in any of those locations is $112,400 - $208,800. The base compensation range in other locations may vary. This role may also be eligible for an Annual Bonus based on a combination of enterprise and individual performance. Base pay is positioned within the range based on several factors including an individual's knowledge, skills and experience with consideration given to internal equity. Base pay is one part of a comprehensive Total Reward program which also includes flexible and supportive benefits and other wellbeing programs.
