The Regional Solutions Manager collaborates with District Managers, and Regional Managers to coach, mentor and train the service and solutions sales force. This partnership aims to assist in developing and delivering complex project solutions while meeting customer expectations.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Coach, mentor and train Daikin's service and solutions sales force to use consultative selling
    techniques that drive growth and total solutions value to the customer in service and repair,
    complex turnkey, building automation and energy solution projects
  • Develop strategic business plan to meet regional 3-5S sales quota, including closing measures,
    timelines, and necessary resources to achieve plan
  • Develop and implement sales and marketing strategies to determine, target, qualify, and secure
    prospects for new energy efficient Systems, Advanced, and Connected business opportunities
  • Identify financially viable business opportunities and execute sales strategies
  • Prepare and communicate pipeline reports, sales activity, and business plans to achieve sales
    goals. As required, will partner with district leadership to coach and train on targeted performance
    measures
  • Partner with control and energy engineering groups to analyze and evaluate operating costs for
    qualified potential opportunities
  • Assist with onsite due diligence or building surveys as required for qualified service solution
    opportunities to further qualify or gather data required for the sales process
  • Coordinate the development interface with project management and operations team to assure
    customer satisfaction
  • Identify, participate, and drive the Daikin brand at regional marketing events such as trade shows
    and networking events.
  • Work closely with marketing to leverage resources and seek additional participation such as speaker events and publishing opportunities
  • Strong collaboration with other business and functional leaders within Daikin including regional
    and district managers, sales and application engineers, energy engineers, and project managers
  • Maintain rapport and partnerships with internal and external business partners, including
  • Subcontractors, Manufacturer's Reps, Equipment Sales Manager, National Accounts team, to
    ensure sales objectives are communicated and achieved

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 5+ years of experience in the energy field or similar
  • Ability to travel up to 50%

Preferred Knowledge and Skills:

  • 10+ years of experience in energy or similar field
  • Strong technical knowledge of procurement methods, performance contracting options, providing
    our customers with customized solutions to assist in closing sales
  • Developed and maintained long-term strategic business relationships at the C-level
  • Excellent initiative and interpersonal communication skills
  • Knowledge of Tridium Niagara based controls, Lynxspring, or similar Open Protocol Systems and Building Automation System Architecture
  • Facility Management
  • Cost of Operations Budgeting, Life Cycle Analysis, and Asset Management Benchmarking, Energy Models and Simulations
  • Complex Mechanical, Control, and Supervisory Systems with Cloud-based Server Options
  • System Integrations
