WHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS POSITION:

  • Oversee the Regional Credit & Collection and AR Leaders, leading organizational talent through mentorship, development, and succession planning.

  • Manage the Global Accounts Receivable lifecycle applying advanced strategies and providing performance transparency through reporting (KPIs, Metrics, and SLAs).

  • Regularly interact with and report to the Segment CFOs regarding current risks/opportunities, analysis of the monthly results, and communication of future month forecasts as well as stay engaged with the business to understand changes that may impact the Credit & Collection teams.

  • Drive method and strategy to help achieve sales initiatives, while minimizing loss for the organization, based on buyer's credit worthiness and country risk associated with specific buyers.

  • Ensure collateral documents are compliant and liens perfected in accordance with local laws and regulations. Actively participate in high visibility collection issues such as bankruptcy credit committees, workouts, etc. and participate in customer visits as required.

  • Act as a change agent and process innovator. Demonstrate project management proficiency in all aspects of the order-to-cash process. Work cross functionally to drive process improvements and customer satisfaction.

  • Actively represent AR in acquisitions, integrations and/or ERP system changes.

REPORTING AND ANALYSIS:

  • Provide sound credit and financial analysis and recommendations.

  • Timely review, analysis, and submission of month-end AR reports for close process and for local and corporate reporting purposes including bad debt reserve analyses.

  • Accurate and timely cash forecasts and final results variance analysis at the Collector, Segment and Regional levels.

  • Update and publish performance measures (KPI, Metrics, SLAs). Interpret performance measures to ensure operations are within scope of organizational expectations and objectives.

  • Provide input to cash management, cash projection, and receivables turnover (DSO) analysis.

  • Provide analysis and assist Sales and Finance with customer negotiations for terms and conditions of sales.

YOU HAVE:

  • Bachelor's degree required.

  • 12+ years of relevant Commercial Credit and Accounts Receivable experience.

  • 10+ years experience in leading and managing teams.

  • Certified Credit designation preferred.

  • Global experience an asset.

  • Experience working at a publicly traded company strongly preferred.

  • Experience in the manufacturing industry is a plus.

  • Experience with GETPAID, SAP, or JDE financial systems is a plus
